This is a list of commonly asked questions to my cleaning company and answers for you to look through. If you do not see your enquiry here and the answer you are most welcome to contact me and ask.

1, Do you work by the hour? Yes my weekly and bi weekly cleans are currently charged by the hour, My current rate is £17 per hour.

2, Do you work by the job? in regards to move in more out cleans i will charge per job. as these can take a long time to complete, and may also take more than one cleaner.

3,Do you only do house cleaning? yes I only clean domestic properties. however i will clean your office if it is in a room in your home.

4,Do you set up for parties or clean up after parties? No sorry i am not a party organizer i can not set up your party for you. However i will clean up for you, but please book in advance.

5, Do you do moving in or moving out cleans? yes, i will offer my services for move in or out cleans if there is availability in calendar.

6, Do you charge more money or the same money for move out cleans? yes this is due to a deeper clean than you get in a regular clean, more hours and more pair of hands on occasions.

7, Do you do random cleaning or do you only have weekly and bi weekly cleans? if i have availability or a cancellation i can arrange a one of clean at short notice.

8, if my regular cleaning falls on a holiday will you be working? most likely no, sorry

9, Do you charge more to work on a holiday? I do not work on holidays, I have a family I like to spend time with, sorry.

10, What hours do you work? i work 9am to 5pm, five days of the week and weekends if booked in advanced and for special requests.

11, Do you work weekends? for special requests and if booked in advanced.

12, How long have you been in business? Since September last year.

13, is there any special training you’ve gone through to learn how to house clean? no but I am constantly learning different cleaning techniques, videos and from my mistakes. I research, bounce information from other cleaners. How ever i do have COSHH certificate.

14, Have you ever been fired from an house clean and why? no thankfully enough

15, Do you have references? can ask

16, Do you do laundry? No sorry, that is part of your daily routine.

17, Do you do dishes or empty the dish washer? no sorry do not do that either, part of your daily routine. i will be cleaning your base boards instead.

18, Do you do pet sitting on the side? nope

19, is it ok if my pets hang out in the same room as your cleaning? no I do not mind, if they don’t mind vacuum noises or do not like to eat or run of with cleaning cloths (yes this has happened).

20, Is it ok if my kids are in the same room as you are cleaning? no do not mind but in all due respects I am your cleaner not the baby sitter. can not be held responsible while I am trying to clean.

22,Are you boned and insured? i do have liability insurance with Churchill, you are welcome to ask to see the certificate.

23, Are you licensed to house clean? in the UK there is no requirement to have a licence to clean domestic homes.

24,Do you clean windows? I clean only the interior windows inside you home. This can be apart of the weekly clean (high touch areas or spots), part of the move out or in clean. or you can request as an add on of a special request just your windows this includes frames, tracks and sills.

25, Do you only clean houses or do you also clean offices? houses only, sorry

26,Do you detail cars? no

27,Do you defrost freezers and clean out the fridge? This will be under special requests and be booked into your clean as an add on.

28, What kind of cleaning chemicals do you use on hard wood floors? PH balanced or as neutral as possible with a damp only mop or floor cloth. ( tiny bit of dish soap.

29,Do you bring your own cleaning supplies? yes i do bring some supplies with me.

30, Do you have your own vacuum? We ask that you supply the vacuum and mop/ bucket. This is to aid to reduce cross contamination between homes.
